Siskel

Jay, PJ, Melody and I went to see Interkosmos last night at the Gene Siskel Film Center. There was an entertaining Q&A afterwards with the director.

Powell's

South side Powell's.

North side Powell's.

On my last visit to the south side Powell's I found hardcover copies of Evans and McDowell, Truth and Meaning and Chomsky, Cartesian Linguistics. Powell's can still deliver the goods.

I took a break the other day from reading phil. language in the library and cruised down to Lake Michigan.

Then I rode back to 57th street and had a gelato.
